The hCG weight loss diet does not require users to count calories.

(PRWEB) February 21, 2012

As an hCG weight loss authority, hCG Blog consistently receives emails from visitors with questions and concerns regarding the hCG diet. Over the past week, a number of messages have come in demonstrating that many consumers are afraid to try the hCG diet because they dislike the tedious nature of keeping track of caloric intake. The influx of comments regarding this subject over the past seven days has led hCG Blog to announce that one does not have to count calories while on the hCG diet.

“It seems a number of people are under the impression that the 500 calorie hCG weight loss diet requires users to manually count and monitor calorie intake,” explains hCGBlog.com founder Wendy Miles. “The problem is that this is simply not the case. HCG dieters need to eat certain foods in specific portions, but the foods permitted add up to 500 calories on their own.”

Losing weight with hCG drops or injections requires users to follow a carefully laid out weight loss plan. Each day, dieters are allowed two proteins, two vegetables, two fruits and two “bread items” off of an hCG diet food item list. These two meals add up to the 500 calories necessary to promote fast weight loss with hCG. These foods are not only low in calories and fat; they provide the nourishment needed to keep the body healthy and full of energy. While the hCG diet is a 500 calorie weight loss diet, these foods aggregate to the recommended 500 calories allowed. HCG Blog explains that the most important factor in the hCG diet is not manually keeping track of the calories consumed, but eating the proper foods in the right portions.

Editor’s Notes: hCGBlog.com was founded to help provide answers and support for both those on the hCG diet and others who are simply interested in learning about weight loss with hCG.

Palm Harbor, FL (PRWEB) February 21, 2012

(ISC)2®(“ISC)-squared”), the world’s largest information security professional body and administrators of the CISSP®, today announced it has appointed three new members to its U.S. Government Advisory Board (GAB). They are as follows:

Kurt D. Garbars, CISSP, senior agency information security officer, General Services Administration (GSA). Mr. Garbars has led GSA’s IT security program for the past 11 years and is responsible for setting security policy, establishing critical performance measures, managing the certification and accreditation process across GSA, leading the incident handling team and ensuring compliance with key mandates and procedures. He is the former Chairman of the Cloud Computing Security Working Group (CCSWG) under the Federal Government’s CIO Council. Prior to working at GSA, Mr. Garbars worked at the Department of Defense as an information systems security officer, an IT security engineer, and an electronics engineer.

Dr. Robert “Rocky” Young, CISSP-ISSAP, ISSMP, director of Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Outreach (CIAO) and Mobile Security Division, Defense-Wide Information Assurance Program (DIAP), Identity and Information Assurance Directorate (IIA)-DoD Chief Information Officer, Office of the Secretary of Defense. Dr. Young has worked for more than 25 years in cyber security, information assurance and information operations as an educator, analyst and administrator. In addition to his official duties at DIAP, he serves as an adjunct graduate professor for the Center of Technology and National Security Policy at the National Defense University, where he is currently working on research in information assurance, and teaches graduate-level cyber security courses for Syracuse University’s iSchool.

These two federal executives will serve with (ISC)2’s elite group of volunteer advisors from the U.S. public sector and industry organizations. The board provides insight and advice to the (ISC)2 executive management team on government policies and programs that affect the information security profession, as well as certifications for U.S. cyber security professionals, and sponsors community outreach initiatives including the (ISC)2 Government Information Security Leadership Awards (GISLAs) and the (ISC)2 U.S. Government Advisory Board Executive Writers Bureau (GAB EWB).

The new members were introduced during the GAB’s quarterly meeting last week in Washington, D.C. “We are honored to have Mr. Garbars and Dr. Young join the GAB,” said Marc H. Noble, CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, CGEIT, MBCI, director of government affairs for (ISC)2 and co-chair of the GAB. “They each bring rich and diverse life and professional experiences to the table. Their understanding and insight into how current issues and programs impact the federal information security workforce will help (ISC)2 determine how best to evolve our resources and certifications to help advance the federal information security profession.”

Established in 2003, the (ISC)2 GAB is one of several (ISC)2 advisory boards representing information security professionals worldwide. Other boards advise on information security workforce issues specific to the North American, Latin American, European and Asia-Pacific regions.

“We’d like to thank Hittite for this recognition and for their continued support of the Litron Team” says Plasse. “It’s great to know that the hard work and dedication of my employees is recognized and rewarded by our customers”.

VehicleTools – Diagnosing Problems to Save YOU Time!

(PRWEB UK) 20 February 2012

This new product launch including fault code readers and various other types of diagnostic tools will come as a real treat to those with a passion for self-servicing their vehicles.

The VehicleTools website has been up and online for almost a year and is constantly gaining more and more traction in the search engines. This is purely down to a continuous growth in sales along with a steady increase in traffic to the website throughout the months the business has been in operation. The website sells virtually everything a mechanic could need to sort a car out, aside from the car parts itself; so that means amateurs have a huge range of potential car tools and equipment to choose from to get them started.

One of the best tools in the arsenal of a home mechanic is the fault code reader for several reasons. If a car develops a problem, it can sometimes be very hard to diagnose or find out the cause (unless it’s clearly obvious, such as a wheel hanging off). Therefore, most people will book it into a garage to have it hooked up to a diagnostic machine to identify the problem, regardless of the outcome, it will cost money; even if they find no problem at all, it will still mean shelling out for labour. This can become extremely expensive if a car is unreliable, or if the owner is a ‘car hypochondriac’ and worries about every little squeak and bump they hear. So investing in one of these little goodies is definitely a good start.

Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager at VehicleTools and a general car enthusiast gave us an explanation of just how useful this small tool can be: “OBD stands for on-board diagnostics; this essentially refers to the system a car uses for self-diagnostics and reporting capabilities. A fault code reader is essential for narrowing down problems within the engine of a car as the reader takes information from the cars ECU and it will highlight and bring to attention any abnormalities experienced when operating. A specific fault code will be given (P07XX), which will refer to a specific component within the engine, and the problem involved; after it has been narrowed down, you can look for the causes. Without a diagnostic tool you can spend a crazy amount of time and money and still have the same problem, if not more, from replacing/altering things which worked perfectly.”

Recent studies and surveys have shown that far more people, almost 30%, are now carrying out minor servicing work on their vehicles. Obviously in the current climate, people are trying to save pennies wherever possible; fuel prices continue to rise and the last thing motorists need are garages ripping them off. So where possible, people are learning more about their own car and doing bits and pieces them self, resulting in far less labour for garages, which amounts to more money staying in pockets. It’s quite common for friends to share tools amongst cars which will also dramatically cut the costs and outlays of self-servicing.

VehicleTools is a sub-site of Toolbox, which is part of the Plumbworld Network. Plumbworld was an early pioneer of online trading, started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999 and was sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, Plumbworld now employs more than 50 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices and boasts an astonishing 50 websites selling everything from hedge trimmers and wheelbarrows to multi-fuel stoves and Stanley tools. The business has a turnover in excess of £18 million and is growing at more than 20% year on year.

Folsom, CA (PRWEB) February 17, 2012

8minutenergy Renewables, LLC, signed a 25-year contract to sell 200 megawatts (200MWac) of clean, renewable solar energy from the Mount Signal Solar project in Imperial Valley, Calif., to San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). The transaction was conducted with 82LV 8ME, LLC, a subsidiary of 8minutenergy Renewables, a leading independent solar PV developer based in Folsom, Calif., which has a joint development agreement with AES Solar of Arlington Va., to develop and build the Mount Signal Solar project. AES Solar, a joint venture between the AES Corporation and Riverstone Holdings LLC, develops, owns and operates utility scale photovoltaic solar installations worldwide.

The Mount Signal Solar project is a large, utility-scale solar generation facility sited on 1,940 of low-productivity farmland in the Imperial Valley, Calif. The project will create nearly 450 direct jobs and more than 500 indirect jobs in Imperial County, Calif. during the 18-month construction period. The Imperial Valley currently has an unemployment rate of about 30%, which is among the highest in the country.

The Mount Signal Solar project is slated to begin delivery of renewable energy to SDG&E in mid-2013. Mount Signal Solar project’s annual production capacity of approximately 500 million kilowatt hours (kWhs) of electricity will produce enough renewable solar energy to serve 72,000 households in SDG&E’s service territory. This clean solar generation plant will displace the equivalent of approximately 356,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, which is equal to the amount that roughly 15 million trees would displace annually.

The Mount Signal Solar project will connect with SDG&E’s Imperial Valley substation, and its renewable solar energy will be transmitted over the utility’s Sunrise Powerlink transmission line, currently under construction and slated for completion in 2012.

“We look forward to delivering clean, renewable energy to over 72,000 customers of San Diego Gas & Electric,” said Martin Hermann, chief executive officer of 8minutenergy Renewables, which has over 2,000MW and 15,000 acres of private, disturbed land under development for renewable solar projects in California. “The project is located Imperial Valley, which is one of the most favorable areas for solar. It will be also one of the first to transmit power via the new Sunrise Powerlink.”

“The Mount Signal Solar project will ultimately create nearly 1,000 direct and indirect jobs in an area with high unemployment, and produce renewable energy that will further SDG&E’s goal of helping the state meet its 33 percent RPS mandate,” said Tom Buttgenbach, president of 8minutenergy Renewables. “SDG&E and the Imperial County Board of Supervisors all played pivotal roles in the careful evaluation, planning and support of this project.”

The utility-scale solar power system for Mount Signal Solar project is comprised of state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic modules, related power electronics, and other components including an advanced tracking system that follows the sun to maximize energy production. This solar composition of large scale solar arrays is designed to feed the SDG&E electric utility grid and represents the future paradigm for large scale electrical generation.

The contract is pending approval from the California Public Utilities Commission.

(PRWEB) February 18, 2012

Madwire Media, a website design and marketing company based in Northern Colorado, announces the launch of three new websites. These websites display the wide range of Madwire Media’s design capabilities.

When searching for a company to design and develop a website, what do clients look for? Attention to detail, unique designs, and, most importantly, the ability to increase sales? They want all of those things, and Madwire Media provides them.

Andrew Muller of Vivarati, a men’s dress sock retailer, said of his experience, “Madwire Media carefully designed and developed Vivarati’s website. Madwire Media and Vivarati both share a careful attention to detail in their respective industries. Madwire Media has been professional and expert in all matters relating to developing http://www.vivarati.com. ”

For clients who aren’t quite sure what the best way is to display their products, Madwire Media has a fully staffed design team, as well as a marketing team. These teams will help Madwire Media’s clients the same way they helped Loan Analytics, whose website they recently designed.

Loan Analytics says, “Madwire media did a great job of taking our product offering and communicating it well through their website design process.” Visit their website at http://www.loananalytics.com.

So what happens after a great design is achieved? It’s time for marketing. The best website design in the world can’t see a product if no one knows about it. That’s where Madwire Media’s marketing team comes in. Madwire Media can help those who wish to utilize internet marketing to increase sales.

The owners of Auric Energy Healing, an online source for energy healing tools, enlisted the services of Madwire Media to assist with their design and marketing needs. Because of this, they have been able to pass savings onto their clients. Amrita and Donald of Auric Energy Healing said, “Internet marketing has allowed us to offer a product equal to the market leader for half the price.”

Madwire Media designs around 200 beautiful websites a month. With over 80 talented staff on hand, Madwire is able to accomplish phenomenal results for their clients. With innovative website design, inbound targeted SEO marketing, brand identity, and social media, they seem do it all, and do it well. Visit their website at http://www.madwirewebdesign.com

New Book Release: Doing Business with China: The Secrets of Dancing with the Dragon

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 15, 2012

New book released by Arbor Books New York—”Today’s trillion-dollar China market is about to crack wide open—it’s just waiting for foreign investors to push it to the next level. It presents a great opportunity for US businesses to get in on the ground floor,” states Stephen Perl, leading trade US expert on trade and author of his new book, ‘Doing Business with China: The Secrets of Dancing with the Dragon.”

In President Obama’s 2010 State of the Union speech, he stated “We will double our exports over the next five years, an increase that will support two million jobs in America”.

Stephen Perl, author of the new book, Doing Business With China: The Secrets of Dancing With the Dragon says, “There has never been a better opportunity to make money in the Chinese market”.

“Today, China is the fastest growing economy and the fastest growing market for US goods in the World,” says Mr. Perl, one of the world’s leading experts on China and its trade. “It’s vital that US businesses take advantage of this trillion-dollar market. Consumer demand in China is about to explode for ‘Made in the USA’ goods. So why aren’t we treating CHINA like one of our best clients?” questions Mr. Perl.

According to the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR), exports to China neared one hundred billion dollars, an increase of nearly a third over the previous year. Additionally, US exports to China accounted for more than 7% of overall American foreign export.

“Doing Business With China” is a practical, nuts-and-bolts handbook on how to do business in China, with detailed methods for establishing successful relationships with Chinese government and business leaders. Mr. Perl provides critical cultural, political, and business insight from a US perspective.

Mr. Perl says doing business with the Chinese is more about partnering and guanxi (relationships) than making money right away. If US businesses want to ensure their future in the Chinese market, they must realize mutual benefits are measured in personal relationship as well as remuneration. Companies like General Electric, Pepsi, and many other large US corporations have figured this out. Now it’s time for everyone in the US to do the same.

Even China’s Vice President Xi Jinping agrees that developing business relationships between our countries is of the utmost importance. “No matter what changes affect the international situation,” he asserted in a Reuter’s interview, “our commitment to developing the Sino-US cooperative partnership should never waver in the face of passing developments.”

Rich with insightful and practical information, “Doing Business With China” provides precise details and insider secrets regarding the Chinese:

  corporate structure
legal structure
courts system
tax regulations
labor laws
banking system
BK laws
cultural traditions
financing trade with them
understanding China’s sales channels and more….

Mr. Perl says his book is designed for small and large business executives, CEOs, entrepreneurs, government and private think-tank policymakers as well as employees who are doing or planning to do business with China.

“I spent years building relationships and setting up and growing companies in Asia and China,” says Mr. Perl. “This experience has enriched my life in business and culturally as well. China can be your successful business destination. Our future economic growth lies in successful cooperation between the US and China.”
